Allen Iverson May Soon Be Hooping En Puerto Rico
Yahoo – Allen Iverson and Puerto Rico’s professional basketball league are engaged in exploratory talks about a possible deal for the 11-time NBA All-Star, sources told Yahoo! Sports. Iverson’s business manger Gary Moore has talked with Puerto Rico officials, and the league’s teams are discussing a bidding process to woo Iverson. The Puerto Rican league, which starts its 30-game season in March, pays its stars about $20,000 a month, plus living expenses, sources said. The league’s commissioner is selling Iverson on the chance to work his way back to a possible return to the NBA. The league is hoping to convince Iverson to take a trip to the island and look closer at the possibility. Since Iverson returned from an ill-fated stay in Turkey last season, it’s unclear if he has had much, if any, interest among professional leagues outside the NBA.
I’ve seen enough Reggaeton videos to know that AI playing pro ball in Puerto Rico has bad news written all over it. The last thing our troubled ex-star needs nowadays is some big-booty mamis shaking their culos all over him for a little gasolina. I thought Turkey was gonna be a perfect fit but I guess there’s just too much room for trouble over there, too. Iverson needs to play in some Utah semi-pro league for a few years. Somewhere he can study under Mormon tutelage and not drink, gamble, or sip hot beverages (because it’s the Devil’s temperature). Puerto Rican sun, fun, and sin is in the opposite interests of AI. Can’t say I wouldn’t go if I were him, but he’s gotta see the big picture here. And that picture shouldn’t be of J.J. Barea’s wife and her glorious breasts.

Damn, Mo you haven’t had so much as a bite all day due to the Super Bowl, so you try to stay relevant by blogging about AI? I get it, its Barstool Philly, but the dude hasn’t played in the league in two years…might as well talk about Brian Westbrook. Clean it up.
AI is always relevant for anyone that saw him play and I’m especially happy to read Philly stool to read today
