Not much here to make me believe these are the actual uniforms, especially since uniform color changes have to be approved years in advance and this was found on some random website with no explanation, but it still serves as the perfect reminder as to how right I am about this kelly green uniform situation / petition. Yeah, you THINK you want them. But you don’t…because they’ll look like this. Black jerseys with kelly green pants? Puke City.

Besides, the modern helmet with the throwback color doesn’t work at all. The team would have to go back to the old school plain white Eagle wing with no border, kind of like what the Niners did to their jerseys after screwing them up with black accents.

The thought to change the uniforms is the right one, it’s just gonna require a little more thought that slapping the old colors on new Nike unis and calling it a day.
