Since today is the 33rd anniversary of the red, white, and blue taking down the Soviet Union in the 1980 Olympic medal round game (otherwise known as the Miracle On Ice), there can’t be a better way to go out this week than reliving the last minute of their triumph. Many (most) of us weren’t alive, and I think it was so long ago that Pres was only like 12 or 13 so it’s kinda cool seeing it go down as it actually did without Kurt Russell’s face everywhere.
Also, did you know the Broad Street Bullies took out the Commies four years prior? Yessir. Suck it, Zangief.
