The whole thing was not Crosby’s fault you eef. If the Referees had sent Neal to the locker room when he cheap shotted Giroux, that melee with Crosby/Hartnell would have never happened. Crosby is still a weasel, but he was grabbing hartnell to keep him away from Neal. 100% the referees fault.

Does anybody else realize that this is playoff hockey? I am in no way a crosby fan, but I can’t help but wonder that if anybody else was doing this that nobody would say a word. how many times has rinaldo, hartnell,shelley, or even good ol’ Carcillo (when he was playing) started shit, and not even in the playoffs. also if you watch the entire replay, it shows hartnell grabbing crosby’s stick before crosby grabs him. i don’t know how somebody could freak about someone playing with an edge over what ashram did earlier. this is flyers vs penguins hockey. take a look back at some old time hockey videos and get a clue at what the playoffs are all about. I don’t cheer for either teams, but i am pulling for philly in this one, because i love their blue collar in your face kind of play. but i got really taken back when they freak because someone else is playing in your face hockey. either way, lets go flyers
tell123 has it right, playoff hockey is a whole different beast, the regular season is done and gone and as you can tell by watching the kings/canucks series, the presidents trophy doesn’t mean shit when the eighth place seed is resurfacing the ice with your dashed cup dreams… This is what happens in playoff hockey, every player will do anything and everything that they have to do to get under another guys skin, to get him to fuck up so your team can capitalize on his mistake. I don’t like either team, but im gunna be glued to my tv for game 4 just to see if the Pens can claw themselves out of the whole they’ve dug. I have no doubt in my mind that playoff hockey is the most exciting postseason in sports, and if you disagree I believe the entire nation of Canada would like to have a word with you…
There is no problem trying to get under someones skin. That is what the Flyers have done. There is a problem taking deliberate head shots trying to injure players, especially when you are about to be golfing until next season. There is also a problem with starting shit your entire career, and never answering for it. Drop the gloves and square up like everyone else.
