Sixty-four plays. All the greats were on there: Tyree helmet catch, “The Catch” I & II, Marshawn Beast Mode, The Immaculate Reception, The Music City Miracle, all of ‘em. And they all took a tightly-rolled L to the face to DeSean’s walkoff punt return.

Do I agree that it’s the greatest play of all-time? Probably not, but for the sake of this blog let’s just say I do. The fans of Philadelphia need SOMETHING we can hang our hats on. That comeback was phenomenal.

Merrill Reese — who to me is the greatest, period — said at the time that it was the most memorable Eagles game he’d ever been apart of. And when you watch the tape and relive the moment it’s easy to see why. Down 21 on the road with under 8 minutes left in the 4th? Best comeback I can remember.

Congrats, DeSean. Go Birds.
