If there is a personification of the Philly sports rumor mill, Howard Eskin is it. Especially on Twitter. It seems like once everything quiets down for a bit (Eagles season over, Flyers slumping, etc), here comes Howard with some ‘source’ whose info is as random as it is awesome. Peyton Manning to the Skins ALREADY? One-on-one’s with Plaxico where he’s begging to sign with the Birds? Who evens wants him?  And why you, Howard? I’m not flat-out saying these are lies but the dots don’t connect for you to be the outlet for juicy info over every other sports journalist in the country.

So to celebrate Mr. Eskin and his ongoing crusade to scoop the story before everybody else, I’ve taken it upon myself to scoop his own tweets before he even tweets them. How’s that for investigative journalism?
