Jewel Thieves Steal $50 Million Worth Of Diamonds From Brussels Airport, Internet Commenters Still Know More Than They Do

Here is a life lesson for anyone looking to succeed in anything involving the internet and opinions: you can’t win. Ever. Even if you’re right. In fact, being right is often the first step to being ridiculed on the internet. So for anyone who wants to blog or act or create music just know that everyone on the internet is going to hate it and offer their two cents as to why they hate it…even if they love it.
Take for example last night’s amazing $50 million jewel heist. Makes Danny Ocean’s Bellagio job look like amateur hour with his bullshit unnecessary flipping Asians and comic relief Bernie Mac. Yet even when a team of highly-skilled, highly-focused, and extremely ballsy jewel robbers successfully steal $50 million worth of diamonds from an AIRPORT, somebody still has something to say:

- James Esq., Bonobo City
Really, James Esquire? Getting $50 million in free diamonds was a waste of time? Why didn’t you tell somebody before they went and wasted all their precious 11 minutes!? Now they’re stuck in Europe with $50 million of worthless diamond garbage when they could be hanging out in Bonobo City with you and your increasingly valuable gold and silver stockpiles. What a shame.
Never change, internet.

And if I learned anything at all from Die Hard With a Vengeance, stealing large quantities of gold bars is a piece of cake.
I give you my valuable time and you waste it with a blog like this??? I want my (internet) money back!
Mo, what ever happened to your boys who stole the pallet of fried chicken? They alright?
What a weird article to use this take on. I understand what you’re saying, but that comment wasn’t even worth a laugh, let alone a post.
So now we resort to reading blogs about random Internet comments? Can’t wait till Neil critiques some schmuck like me on here into a blog.
“Can’t wait for Neil to repost this” shit nobody says
allmurkandnoplay is one of those internet commenters who likes his own comments
$470 million, not $50 million (according to cnbc). Not a bad day’s work!
This story is really cool. Way to ruin it with your bitterness towards internet commenters, ultimately fueled by your own racism, Mauricio.
Guy is an idiot. Gold is fucking heavy as hell,450 million dollars worth of gold weighs 17,000 lbs, while diamonds are far less heavy making the heist much easier.
Thanks for the advice Gordon Gekko.
Of course you’d post something on white guys stealing.
cool story, rpw.
The correct movie reference here is Snatch. Grow a clue.
Need to reference the Lufthansa heist in Goodfellas, Mo. You should be put out of your misery just like Stacks.
Nice
the movie is Heist with devito and hackman. check it almost the same exact thing except it was gold and not diamonds
If you don’t know about the Pink Panther gang, here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pink_Panthers
“comic relief Bernie Mac” hilarious.
