Late Night Comedy Battle: National Teachers Day vs. Social Network For Dogs
Not a huge late night talk show fan, but it’s weird to see Letterman and Leno pulling up the rear behind the other three nowadays. While my favorite right now is probably Jimmy Fallon because of his songs (i.e. Tebowie/Jeremy) and The Roots, Conan and Kimmel have been solid recently too. So I wanted to put two clips from either show that came out today up against one another to see which you guys like best. I watched them back to back and thought both were pretty funny, which is strange because they both have sad truths underneath. So here it goes: A Message From Your Kids’ Teachers vs. Is It Time For Dogs To Have A Social Network Of Their Own?*.
VS.
Vote 1 for Jimmy Kimmel and 10 for Conan.
*No.

Kimmel can get right out of my face with this “oh only the kids are stupid and us teachers try so hard shtick.” and poo-pooing about their paycheck? give me a break. you signed up for the job morons if you don’t like how much you’re being paid get a job in the real world where you don’t have have three month vacations (summer), christmas break, spring break, and every other bullshit holiday out there. teachers are a joke. for every good one there are 10 who don’t give a shit.
capitalizing sentences is for losers.
these shows are for losers or people over the age of 40, who are by definition losers. if you are watching these shows you either are too poor to afford dvr or too stupid to use it properly
big al, you mad?
“…my favorite right now is probably Jimmy Fallon”
the fact that you actually typed out that phrase just discredited any opinion you have ever expressed. man, you are such an uncle tom with absolutely zero taste
the thing about teachers making $800 a week was the funniest part. before taxes maybe. i was almost going to be a teacher, and in college i took a class where we sat in on classes for a day at a high school. horror stories for days. granted, it was at holyoke high, but still. one lady was just like, “i make $28,000 a year, and i probably spend $1,500-$2,000 out of my own pocket for supplies i need but can’t get from the school.” no thanks…
Definitely before taxes. And that’s a weekly check for the 9 months you’re working instead of spread out over 52 weeks. Fuck teaching.
