DMSkateboarding legend Tony Hawk was quick to respond to Instagram users who questioned his somewhat unorthodox parenting approach after he was pictured dangling his four-year-old daughter in the air by her limbs while she wasn’t wearing a helmet. Hawk, 44, who owns a 5,000 sq ft concrete skate park in his backyard, actually posted the original picture of himself and daughter Kadence Clover to his Instagram page on Monday. But the picture didn’t impress everyone. One follower posted, ‘Crash, split, blood! Put a helmet on her, moron!’ He posted a second picture of his daredevil daughter with a message for those who didn’t appreciate his parenting approach. ‘One more from yesterday. For those that say I endanger my child: it’s more likely that you will fall while walking on the sidewalk than I will while skating with my daughter.’

Damn right, Tony. Hell yeah you can skate better than most people can walk.  It’s dumbfounding how someone could think the greatest skateboarder of all-time wouldn’t be careful with his daughter on a street course. Might literally be a top-10 dumbest comment in the history of cyberspace. Birdman’s daughter should wear a helmet? Please. Lil Wayne should wear a helmet. As long as Candace Hawk avoids blindfolds and team sports she’ll be fine. That’s like telling Tony Stewart’s kid to wear a seat belt or Ron Jeremy’s kid to wear a condom. Just seems silly. I’m pretty sure they know what they’re doing. It’s genetics.

PS – None of ya’ll could’ve seen me in any Tony Hawk game. I was NICE WITH IT. Million-point combos like it was nothing.
PPS – Wonder who Zuckerberg is going to sell these pictures to.
