Top 10 Beastie Boys Songs Taking Us Into The Weekend!
As you already know, Beastie Boy MCA (Adam Yauch) died today at the age of 47. Obviously one of hip hop’s pioneers, the Beasties pretty much made it okay to be white and Jewish and into rap. Without them there would be no Vanilla Ice. And without a Vanilla Ice to hate, there would be no Eminem. And without Eminem, there would’ve been no 8 Mile. And without 8 Mile, we never would have been able to see how bad Mekhi Phifer looks with fake dreadlocks.
So yeah, MCA is pretty much responsible for everything.
Take some time this weekend and go through this mini Beastie Boys playlist if for nothing else than to pay homage to a fallen legend. R.I.P. MCA.

Root Down (the Free Zone Mix) might be my favorite track EVER. Im not going to say this makes up for your consitent frumpy GTA’s but im impressed you came out with this MCA tribute, especially when looking at the halfass horseshit blog BSS Boston came out with. who would have though the black guy out-tributes the Jew on the death of a HipHop legend of the hebrew faith? go figure….
