Towson Football Coach To Players: Even If Jesus and His Disciples Come In Here On Saturday, We Are Going To Fuck Them Up

TowerLight –
This letter is being written on behalf of many current and former players of the Towson University football team. Head Coach Rob Ambrose has openly disrespected and mistreated members of the team on a consistent basis. This is also true of the Defensive Coordinator Coach Matt Hachmann. Please excuse the language but this is a descriptive example of a statement coach Ambrose made following a practice during the week of our game against St. Francis this current season.
In as exact words as possible he stated: “I do not care what your religion is. I do not care if I offend anyone. But even if Jesus and his disciples come in here on Saturday, we are going to fuck them up and get them the fuck out of here.”
That particular statement offended many players on the team especially those with strong Christian beliefs. On top of that, there are many other questionable things said we believe are crossing the line of ethics He has also made remarks on the lines of ruining players live to the point where they would not be able to transfer to any other school if they cross him to a certain extent. Some members of the team are scared to speak up because of the perceived personal repercussions if the coaches caught wind of it. But it has gotten to the point where many players have talked about quitting even in the midst of winning games.
There is also many violations in practice hours per day. We have been presented with practice logs that coach Ambrose submits weekly which we have found to be completely inaccurate. Ambrose holds punishment runs almost daily throughout the week at 6 a.m. but does not post them on any of his practice logs. He also logs inaccurate time lengths of our practices and meetings. This is an issue we have already presented to the compliance office.
“Listen — are you guys listening? LISTEN UP. I do not care what your religion is. I do not care if I offend anyone. Even if Jesus and his disciples come in here. Even if God himself floated on in here with Buddha on his shoulders while holding an accurately-drawn picture of Muhammad. Hell, even if your own grandmother used some type of reverse-Looper technology and walked in here holding YOU as an infant while singing hymns and begging for peace. We are going to fuck them up and get them the fuck out of here. FUCK. THEM. UP. You guys hear me?”
“Yes!”
“You gonna fuck them up!?”
“Yes!”
“Even if it’s Jesus or Buddha with a Muhammad picture or your own grandmom opposite-Looping us while holding you as a baby!?!”
“Ye-uh..wait actually, coach–”
“YEEARARARGGH!!!”

So what the dude runs a tight ship and doesnt go to fucking church, whatever it takes to win
he was making a point, sheesh, cry about it, wahhhhh im christian, wahhhhhhhh jesus
“Even if God himself floated on in here with Buddha on his shoulders while holding an accurately-drawn picture of Muhammad” BigCat needs to MS Paint that shit asap
No way in hell. Who does Rob Ambrose think he is? Belichick? JC would throw for 1,000 yards, rush for 350, and run back 5 int’s for TD’s. Also, Revis Island is nothing compared to Jesus Island. The Messiah has got mad cover skills. Plus, you better believe that JC would throw a ton on Hail Marys for TDs just for the irony of it all.
So if Jesus shows up with his disciples this Saturday in Villanova uniforms, what are these bitchy players gonna do, not play? No, you get out there and show Jesus, Mark, and John what you got. And somebody would need to lay out Judas.
i’m so sick of tip-toeing around christians. i respect everyone’s right to follow whatever religion they want, if any. but that’s your own personal shit. keep all that inside your own brain and within the confines of your house of worship.
when i used to play football, after the game both teams would circle up, the home team’s resident “preacher” would say something about thanking god for being able to play this game, for not having any serious injuries, or to be with any player who suffered a serious injury. Then 99% of everyone said the “our father who art in heaven…” thing. Meanwhile, i’d just stand there respectfully, cuz i share the sentiment, it’s just not religiously-based. but i few times i felt like i was getting grills from other dudes, like i was fucked up for not praying. it’s ridiculous.
Neil should meet a terrorist.
