As mentioned yesterday, this African child adoption move (coupled with a few really good seasons) has placed Cole Hamels firmly on the maurice Can’t-Do-Wrong list. At this point it’s hard to even picture a scenario where he would fall off that list. He’s probably still going to be our best ace and our key to the postseason. It would take their other baby actually succeeding in eating the black baby’s face off or Cole blowing a playoff game or something drastic.
