You guys might know New York Mets outfielder Scott Hairston. He’s a journeyman eight-year veteran, having bounced around on five big league rosters throughout his mediocre career. This season, he’s hitting .249 with 12 homers and 34 RBI. Still, he’s not the kind of player keeping opposing managers up at night with his .291 on-base percentage. But Hairston has fucking killed the Phillies this season–he’s hitting .324 against them with five home runs and 8 RBI.

That’s right. He’s hitting 75 points higher against the Phillies and nearly half his fucking home runs have come against them. And that makes me mad. But you know whoelse it makes mad? Phillies radio broadcaster Scott Franzke–that’s who. Now, let me preface this by saying that Franzke is the fucking man. He kills it on the radio. And let me just say that it’s bad enough watching the Phillies shit their way through this season, but it’s even worse because they waste the talents of Franzke and Larry Anderson on the radio side, while the ever annoying trio of Tom McCarthy, Chris Wheeler, and Sarge Matthews handle the television duties.

Anyway, after Scott Hairston hit a 403-foot bomb off of Cliff Lee to open the scoring in the fourth inning of last Wednesday’s 9-2 win over the Mets, Franzke let loose his frustrations during the commercial break. Check it out.
